What to expect
Passenger and pilot ride up to the take-off site together by mountain railway. There the pilot explains how it works. After a few steps the glider fills with air and lifts off. In the air the pilot steers, and the passenger has a clear view of lakes, valleys and peaks. The whole outing takes around two hours. How long the flight itself lasts depends on the weather.

Where you fly
The provider chooses the take-off site the evening before, based on the weather forecast. In the Canton of Schwyz these are the Urmiberg near Brunnen, the Rigi from Goldau and the Rotenflue near Rickenbach. If the wind is not right there, flights take place in Nidwalden: on the Brändlen and the Büelen near Wolfenschiessen and on the Niederbauen near Emmetten. Another flying area is the Brunni in Engelberg.
The mountain railway ride to the take-off site is not included. If you have a Half Fare travelcard or a GA travelcard, bring it along.
Good to know
Bring good hiking boots, a windproof jacket, long trousers, sunglasses and gloves. According to the provider, the flight is not suitable for children under four or for people over 100 kilograms. The meeting points can be reached by public transport and by car. Bookings can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the flight.
