Route description

The starting point is Brunnen station, which makes getting there particularly easy. The path crosses the Seeweren and the Muota at kilometre 0.8 and reaches Seewen at kilometre 2.3.

From kilometre 2.1 the only climb worth mentioning begins with 189 metres of ascent. The steepest passage lies at kilometre 2.8 and reaches around 32 per cent, a high figure for an otherwise manageable tour.

At kilometre 5.3 the highest point is reached at 746 metres, and shortly afterwards, at kilometre 5.4, the path passes the Stöck. It then descends back to Ingenbohl at 438 metres.

The elevation range is 314 metres. Some sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear. Because the route stays low, it can be walked from March to October. Food and drink are available in Brunnen and in Seewen.
