A short circuit on the Rotenflue
Barely half a kilometre, hardly any difference in height and a start right at the top station: this loop on the Rotenflue is the shortest in our collection, made for a quick outing with children or to stretch the legs before the ride down.

Route description
The circuit begins and ends at the top station of the Rotenfluebahn at around 1,560 metres. Over its 0.5 kilometres there are barely 40 metres of ascent to overcome; the lowest point lies at 1,525 metres. That makes the loop easily manageable for inexperienced walkers and short legs alike.
The path makes no technical demands. The Restaurant Gipfelstubli stands right at the starting point, so the loop combines well with a break. It is recommended from May to October.
