A year-round loop through Schwyz and Ibach

Route description
The starting point is the Wintersried sports ground between Ibach and Seewen. The path stays on the valley floor throughout; the steepest section is four per cent at kilometre 0.2.
At kilometre 1.3 the cantonal capital, Schwyz, is reached with its historic main square. At kilometre 1.6 lies the highest point of the loop at 491 metres.
The route then leads back to the starting point. The elevation range is a mere 45 metres; there are no climbs worth mentioning.
Technically the walk makes no demands and is therefore suitable for all ages. Because it is open all year round, it is an option in any season. Food and drink are available in Schwyz and in Ibach along the route.
