Route description
The starting point is the village square in Morschach. The climb begins at once and continues until kilometre 2.7, with 469 metres of ascent to overcome. At kilometre 1.0 the path passes Hetzig.
The steepest passage lies at kilometre 2.0 and reaches around 34 per cent. At kilometre 2.7 the highest point is reached at 1,121 metres, and shortly afterwards the path passes the Lauitobel.
Via the Bockerentobel the route descends and reaches the Vorder Schilti at kilometre 4.8. Via Weidli, the Hinter Schilti and the Mittler Schilti the loop closes back at the village square.
The elevation range is 478 metres. Several sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear. No refreshment stop is recorded along the route, but food and drink are available in Morschach. The loop can be walked from April to November.
