Route description
The starting point is the middle station of the chairlifts at 1,511 metres. The climb begins at once and continues to the finish: 394 metres of ascent with no counter-descent or flat stretch in between.
The steepest passage lies at kilometre 2.1 and reaches around 21 per cent. The path runs along above the Frontal and crosses the Chessel at kilometre 2.2 before reaching the highest point at kilometre 2.7 at 1,906 metres.
Some sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear. Because the chairlift runs parallel, the descent can easily be shortened.
No refreshment stop is recorded along the short route. The climb is recommended from May to October.
