Loop from Oberiberg up the Roggenstock
678 metres of ascent in a single push: this loop starts in Oberiberg at 1,084 metres and leads up the Roggenstock at 1,776 metres. 9.5 kilometres, four hours and a passage with a 33 per cent gradient shortly before the summit.

Route description
The starting point is Oberiberg. The climb begins at once and continues until kilometre 3.5; on the way the path leads through the Leetobel and via Schwändi.
The steepest passage lies at kilometre 3.0 and reaches around 33 per cent, in other words in the final part of the climb. After the Loch the Roggenstock is reached at kilometre 3.5 at 1,776 metres, the highest point of the loop.
The way back leads via the Guggerenloch and reaches the Fuederegg at kilometre 5.5. Via the Chäswaldtobel, the Gämsläcki, the Sagentobel and the Nüberg the loop closes back at the starting point.
The elevation range is 692 metres. Several sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear, and the 705 metres of ascent call for good basic fitness. No refreshment stop is recorded along the route, but food and drink are available in Oberiberg. The loop can be walked from May to October.
