Loop from Unteriberg to the Hochgütsch
633 metres of ascent in a single push: this loop starts on the Guggelstrasse in Unteriberg at 930 metres and climbs to 1,573 metres. 10.9 kilometres, four hours and a passage with a 28 per cent gradient.

Route description
The starting point is Unteriberg at the Stöcken. From kilometre 0.5 the climb of 633 metres begins and continues until kilometre 5.3. The path crosses the Nidlaubach at kilometre 1.0 and leads through the Plattentobel.
The steepest passage lies at kilometre 1.6 and reaches around 28 per cent. Via the Wellchessi, the Grosser Runs and the Jäntenenruns, the highest point is reached at kilometre 5.3 at 1,573 metres.
The way back descends to the Hochgütsch, where the Berghaus Höchgütsch invites you to a break at kilometre 9.9, the only refreshment stop recorded on the loop.
The elevation range is 652 metres. Several sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear, and the 707 metres of ascent call for good basic fitness. The loop crosses the municipal boundary from Iberg into Einsiedeln and can be walked from May to October.
