Route description
The starting point is the Minster car park on the Guggelstrasse in Unteriberg, at the Stöcken. The path crosses the Nidlaubach at kilometre 1.0 and reaches the Schmalzgruben at kilometre 1.5.
From kilometre 1.9 the climb of 226 metres begins; the steepest passage is 28 per cent at kilometre 2.3. Via the Plattentobel the route leads upwards.
At kilometre 3.1 the highest point of the loop is reached at 1,185 metres, after which the path descends back to the starting point. The lowest point lies at 921 metres.
Some sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear. The elevation range is 264 metres, and the loop crosses the municipal boundary from Iberg into Unteriberg. It can be walked from April to November.
