From Unteriberg over the Tierfäderenegg to Studen
887 metres of ascent in a single push, with a 35 per cent passage right at the beginning: this tour starts at the Unteriberg bus station at 929 metres and leads over 1,833 metres to Studen. 15.9 kilometres and five and a half hours.

Route description
The starting point is the Unteriberg bus station at the Stöcken. The path crosses the Minster at kilometre 0.4; from kilometre 0.7 the climb begins and does not let up until kilometre 6.2.
The steepest passage comes as early as kilometre 0.9 and reaches around 35 per cent. Via Oberstüligen the route climbs and crosses the Tierfäderenegg at kilometre 3.9.
At kilometre 6.3 the highest point is reached at 1,833 metres, shortly followed by the Hinterofen. The long descent leads over the Ortegg and the Chlims, crossing the Sihl at kilometre 9.2.
At kilometre 13.5 the Restaurant Golf invites you to a break, the only refreshment stop recorded. Via the Adelmatt and Studen the hike ends at the Dörfli at 892 metres. The elevation range is 941 metres. Several sections require a sure step and sturdy footwear, and the 947 metres of ascent call for good fitness. The tour can be walked from May to October.
