Route description
The starting point is the top station at Steinweid, which is also the highest point of the route. The steepest drop comes right at the start.
Wart is reached at kilometre 0.9, Illgau at kilometre 1.9 and the Guggenhürli at kilometre 2.1. After crossing the Bettbach the walk ends at 816 metres.
The lowest point lies at 811 metres; the elevation range is 367 metres. There are no climbs at all; the path descends throughout.
Technically the route makes no particular demands, but sturdy footwear is part of the kit. Given its short distance, it suits an afternoon well. It can be walked from May to October.
