From the Rotenflue over the Ibergeregg to Oberiberg
Eight kilometres, almost entirely downhill and with a maximum gradient of only eight per cent: this route leads from the Rotenflue at 1,571 metres over the Ibergeregg down to Oberiberg. One of the easiest high-level hikes in the region.

Route description
The starting point is the top station of the Rotenfluebahn at 1,571 metres, which is also the highest point of the route. After 800 metres the path crosses the Stäglerenegg and runs high above the Alptal and the Zwäckentobel.
Via Zwäcken at kilometre 2 and the Chloterlibach the route descends to the Ibergeregg, reached at kilometre 3.3. There the Restaurant Passhöhe invites you to a break.
The second part leads, after the Ibergereggbach, down through the Fallenbachtobel and reaches Oberiberg at kilometre 7.1 at 1,070 metres, where the Minster and the Fallenbach meet. There are 501 metres between the highest and lowest points.
There are no counter-climbs worth mentioning, and technically the hike makes no demands. The Restaurant Gipfelstubli stands at the starting point. The tour is recommended from May to October and crosses the municipal boundary from Schwyz into Oberiberg.
