Route description
The starting point is Wilen bei Wollerau station, which is also the highest point of the loop. The path drops gently and reaches Freienbach on the lakeshore at kilometre 1.3.
The lowest point lies at 423 metres. There are no climbs worth mentioning; the steepest section is five per cent at kilometre 2.7.
Across the vineyard slopes above the lake the route leads back to the starting point. The walk ends at 490 metres.
Technically the loop makes no demands and is therefore suitable for all ages. It can be walked from March to October and is especially attractive in autumn at grape-harvest time. Food and drink are available in Wilen and in Freienbach.
