From Vorderthal in the Wägital to Feusisberg
21.4 kilometres with an elevation range of just 128 metres: this long but exceptionally flat walk links Vorderthal in the Wägital at 713 metres with Feusisberg. 827 metres of ascent are spread over six and a half hours.

Route description
The starting point is Vorderthal at the Restaurant Sonne at the entrance to the Wägital. The path crosses the Wägitaler Aa straight away and shortly afterwards the Helgenhüslibach. At kilometre 1.4 it passes Zinsisgschwänd, and at kilometre 2.4 lies the highest point at 773 metres.
Via the Hirschloch and after crossing the Mosenbach and the Spreitenbach, a climb of 84 metres follows from kilometre 6.8. At kilometre 8.6 Zug is reached, then Schweigrüti and Höfli.
The path crosses the Autisbach and the Chessibach; the steepest passage is 17 per cent at kilometre 10.7. Via the Höhgaden and Abschlacht the route reaches Bilsten at kilometre 12.9, where the Restaurant Bilstenhof invites you to a break.
After a last climb of 73 metres the walk ends in Feusisberg at 752 metres. Technically the route remains straightforward, but the 21 kilometres call for endurance. It runs from Vorderthal via Altendorf to Feusisberg and can be walked from April to October.
