Route description
The starting point is the Schachen in Muotathal, near the post office. The path crosses the Bürgelibach at kilometre 0.5 and stays on the valley floor throughout.
At kilometre 2.2 the highest point of the loop is reached at 631 metres; the lowest lies at 597 metres. The steepest section is six per cent at kilometre 1.7.
There are no climbs worth mentioning, and technically the walk makes no demands. That makes it suitable for all ages, including small children.
