Route description
The starting point is Wangen at the centre. The first kilometres are flat; from kilometre 1.3 the climb of 156 metres begins.
The steepest section is 14 per cent at kilometre 1.9. At kilometre 3.3 the highest point of the route is reached at 611 metres, from where the view opens over the Obersee and the Linth plain.
Via the Bittchälen the path descends and reaches Tuggen at kilometre 5.5. The walk ends at 409 metres.
Technically the route makes no particular demands and is therefore suitable for families too. Because it is open all year round, it is an option in any season. Both ends are served by public transport.
