Route description
The starting point is the Seebodenalp station, reached by mountain railway or by car. The path crosses the Rigacherbach at kilometre 0.9 and the Fluebach at kilometre 1.6 and leads via Alt Ruodisegg, where the Alpwirtschaft Ruodisegg invites you to a break at kilometre 1.9.
From kilometre 2.6 the only climb worth mentioning follows with 69 metres of ascent. At kilometre 3.4 the highest point of the loop is reached at 1,120 metres, after which the path leads across the Dorfbach back to the starting point.
The steepest passage lies at kilometre 2.9 and reaches around 17 per cent. Technically the hike makes no particular demands. Because the loop can be walked all year round, it is also suitable for outings in the winter half of the year.
