A short stroll on the Mostelberg
Two and a half kilometres, 59 metres of ascent and a maximum gradient of three per cent: this stroll on the Mostelberg is one of the easiest routes in the collection. It suits families with small children and anyone who simply wants to walk a little after the ride up.

Route description
The path begins at the Sattel-Hochstuckli top station at 1,178 metres and stays at this height throughout: there are a mere 44 metres between the lowest and highest points. The highest point is reached after just 600 metres.
There are no climbs worth mentioning; the steepest section is three per cent. The route therefore makes no technical demands; sturdy footwear is enough. It is recommended from May to September.
The Berggasthaus Mostelberg stands at the starting point, and at kilometre 1.3 the Engelstockweid Beizli invites you to a break. Because the top station is also the start, the path combines well with the other attractions on the Mostelberg.
