The Amt für Militär, Feuer- und Zivilschutz (AMFZ), the cantonal office for military affairs, fire protection and civil protection, is the service and competence centre for protecting the public within the Canton of Schwyz's Department of Security. Under one roof it runs military administration, fire protection and civil protection, including protective structures and disaster relief.
